December 3rd: Still at the South Pole and no wind!

Richard and Michael are still at the South Pole! After two days of resting and preparing, the duo planned to kite the following day. The wind conditions were perfect (while preparing), and everything seemed ideal for a speedy departure with their kites... Well, it seems that things have changed. For the last two days, the adventurous duo has been sitting at the South Pole waiting for enough wind to depart on the kiting portion of the expedition! Richard and Michael got up at 3AM hoping for an early departure, only to be greeted by a light breeze of 1 - 2 knots (Richard said that the kites need a minimum of about 6 or 7 knots). Let's wish Michael and Richard a nice strong wind!
