Trip Description This trip is an opportunity to learn kite-skiing from one of the best in the world. Kite-skiing is fun and it is a great way to travel in the arctic. This trip is for anyone with an interest to learn kiting from the best! Finse Norway is a Mecca for kite-skiing. Kite-skiing is one of the main activities in Finse. Finse is easily accessed by train from the Oslo airport to the central Oslo train station and from there to Finse. The only way to get to there is by train, there are no roads. The reviews on Finse 1222 Hotel say it is a bit rustic, but the food is outstanding. Our instructor is Ronny Finse who is a guide for ALE in Patriot Hills, Antarctica. Ronny is also a world class kiter. He has kited from South Pole to Patriot Hills, more than 1000 km in five days, covering more than 500 km in one day! Ronny was our instructor when we visited Finse in 2011. We had such a fabulas time, we want to return.
