Polar Sled
These polar-proven sleds were first designed and made by Richard Weber in 1993. They have been repeatedly used for thousands of kilometres in the Arctic, Greenland and on the Arctic Ocean to the North Pole. We have sleds in stock. The price is $300.00 for the sled only (no sled bag).
Expedition highlights include:
- 1995 Weber/Malakhov expedition, first and only expedition to the North Pole and back with no outside support
- 12 years of successful one-degree North Pole expeditions
- 12 years of successful expeditions on Baffin Island, Ellesmere Island and Axel Heiberg Island
- Unsupported expedition to the North Pole from Ward Hunt Island, 2006
